Origins of Evergreen Coaching
Christine established her communications and IR consultancy, Evergreen Communications, after gaining insight and motivation working with her own professional coach. In conversations with her coach, it became clear that much of the work she did with her consulting clients already involved coaching. This inspired Christine to complete the Coaches Training Institute's Co-Active Coach Training Curriculum, one of the most rigorous programs in the field. In 2018, she expanded the Evergreen offering to include professional coaching for individuals.
Christine finds consulting extremely gratifying and coaching truly rewarding. She considers it a privilege that her coaching clients trust in her professionally and personally, and is honored to serve as their sounding board.
"Christine provided insight and helped me to identify both the challenges and accomplishments in my career. She worked with me to assess my strengths, capabilities, and institute measurable actions as I transition into novel near- and long-term goals. Highly recommend her professional guidance for anyone seeking to address transition and a path toward the next successes and challenges in life."

Coaching Approach
"In my professional life, I’ve suffered from fraud syndrome, fear of anything less than perfection and an overall lack of confidence. I did my job well – successfully even — but couldn’t shake that uneasy feeling that I’d be “found out.” Christine dug deep with me to determine the root of my fears and challenged me to take specific steps toward shifting my mindset. I feel like I have a real shot at breaking old habits and gaining a completely different perspective on my abilities and a more realistic idea of others’ expectations."

“Coaching” has evolved since it became established in the mid-1990s and now appears in a variety of forms. Executive coaching is common in the workplace and often focuses on maximizing individual performance or addressing team dynamics. Career coaching typically centers on clarifying career objectives and job seeking. Life coaching tends to look holistically at the person, helping individuals achieve goals and make changes in their lives.
Through co-active coaching, Christine creates a safe space for clients to explore areas where they would like clarity, understanding, progress or change. She focuses on the whole person and may draw from the various forms of coaching above. She appreciates that each client brings unique needs and motivations. Some have something they are striving for and others may feel stuck. While some coaches rely on pre-developed tools and feel their role is to “fix problems,” Christine doesn’t view clients as “broken.” Her approach is tailored to the individual and founded in the belief that clients possess their own wisdom and may need help accessing it.
As a coach, Christine can:
